My Approach

There are many types of grief, some tangible and some intangible. You may be grieving the loss of a loved one, the loss of a relationship, or maybe you feel you have lost yourself and your identity somewhere along the way.

It is never too early to address your grief. Anticipatory grief, grief over impending loss or significant change, can cause feelings of numbness, disbelief, guilt, and sadness. Working through emotions as they arise is beneficial and promotes healing.

Any time we choose a new path, or are forced on a new path due to circumstances outside of our control, we are required to let go of what was. This is the grieving people may not recognize. To move forward, we grieve what was left behind: a person, a dream, a part of ourselves.

All feelings of loss are valid. We all have our individual experiences of loss. Experiencing loss and grief is the common thread among us all.

Intentional action along with time, brings healing.

Everything in life is a letting go. With acceptance, we learn to have hope and make room for both the sadness and the joy.

We experience freedom when we address the healing of our mind, body, spirit and emotion.

Walker, there is no path,
you make the path as you walk.
